Angier Lego Teams

Lego Team starting September 20, 2011.

Lego Team meets on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-2pm. 

 

Angier’s Lego League Team, FIRST Lego League* (Sr FLL 9-14 years old, 3^rd–5^th graders) will begin on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.

• The goal of the FLL Team is to inspire, excite and introduce children to the wonders of science, technology, and engineering through something as simple as legos. 
• The Team will discover the possibilities of improving the world around them through understanding, thought, planning and technology. 
• The Sr Team will do all of that, all while working on their missions and projects in order to participate in a local and regional tournament. 
• There will be a slight fee for the Sr Team to help cover the cost to participate in the tournament.  
• There will be two tournaments that the team will participate in, November 19^th at Newton North HS and December 10^th (location TBD).

If you are interesting in signing up your child and/or would like to volunteer to be a coach or mentor, please email Laura Unflat at laura@unflatlaw.com by Friday, September 16^th.  Please let us know your child’s name, age and grade.
